One of my dear friends, fans and followers Anna asked me a good question the other day and I thought I would answer here. She asked how long and what got me interested in being a musician? I think I was born for a love of the arts period. I read early as a young child was obsessed with music and movies since I can remember. Wrote my 1st poems and short stories that were put in my public school library when I was only in 1st grade. I went to acting school for 4 years and Kids in my middle and high school would stop me in the hall to sing for them, telling their friends how good I could sing!LOL!
But I was always destined for Rock N Roll..from listening to the Elvis, Beatles, Kiss, BonJovi, The Doors, Van Halen,etc...I could go on and on and on!lol. Truly though, when I was a Kid, my 1st true concert was Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, (Hard Promises Tour) and I have to tell ya when the lights went down and the stage lit up and Tom sang out "Oh baby don't it feel like heaven right now" from the song Waiting and I heard 15,000 people sing his song back to him, I was bitten by the true desire to have that feeling..I wanted to write and record and play my own songs live and have my songs sang back to me! I have been very fortunate to have had that sensation, with my former band Sin City,(not 15,000 yet!lol),but even 1 person singing and enjoying a song that you write from your very heart and soul, is more special than I can describe. No other feeling like that in the world, not one!:) If I can make you feel what I'm singing with my songs and put a show on for you that you all deserve, then I have done what I always set out to do..Rock you all, like ya never been rocked before!:)That's a little more about me..Hope ya enjoyed and this one was 4 Anna.
